How To Behave So Your Customers Do Too!

As we all try to find our was back to a normal business life in a Corona Virus world,  Rob Stenberg will be giving his October 1st interactive presentation via webcast from 7:45 – 9:15 a.m. See below for details and registration:

There are behaviors salespeople exhibit when trying to influence potential clients that actually hinder their ability to sell. We will cover just some of these behaviors and discuss why these behaviors are not helping close the sale. Much of these behaviors are taught and encourage by sales leadership! In addition, we will cover how to increase the conversation in the “discovery phase” of the sales conversation.

My Dad was a butcher and my Mom was a secretary. I had a pretty basic middle-class family, although being one of five kids meant that most of the time, we simply didn’t have much money. I learned you get what you want through hard work, dedication and a little “luck,” but that you generally make your own luck. I started working as a caddy at the local country club when I was 12 years-old, worked my way into the bag room and ended up as caddy master for a number of years. Working at the country club taught me lessons that remain with me today. One, keep working hard to get what you want. Two, possessing the ability to influence others, as well as possessing leadership skills, will always be critical to success. That is how I arrived where I am today.

I love to help others improve the positive traits they have within themselves. I teach communication, storytelling and connective listening skills to companies and individuals interested in increasing their ability to influence, engage, lead and sell. I am also the co-founder of STORYseekers.us, and work with both for profit and not for profit organizations to use storytelling to drive results. I am a John Maxwell speaker, trainer and coach and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of St. Scholastica with degrees in Management and Marketing. But, don’t be too impressed. Some people follow a four-year plan, some a five-year plan, to graduate from college. I went on what I call the 33-year plan!
