Shifting the Paradigm to Increase Sales Performance

Because of a declining demand for our online webcast, PSA has decided to discontinue that option. On January 10th, join us in person as Ted “Bump” Davies gives his presentation.  See below for details and registration:

How To Get 20% to 50% Prospecting Appointment Rate!

Join us at PSA as Ted shares his methodology on how to get an appointment with V.I.T.O. using digital and direct mail. His tactics have achieved up to a 50% appointment rate.

For example, this campaign exceeded a 40% appointment rate, the proposal rate increased from 25% to 35% and the win rate increased from 20% to 25%. Over 40,000 prospects were targeted over 12 months at a cost of $20 per prospect.

This campaign lowered the acquisition cost from $600 to $350 per MBA student enrolled and increased enrollment by 15%.

Ted will share Digital and Direct Mail tactics he personally uses and case studies of clients. In addition, he will share best practice related to  calling metrics like time of the day, how to leave a voice message, how to overcome objections and the best kept secret to use when calling on V.I.T.O.  He will also share how he uses ChatGBT and the Client’s Website to aid in getting a meeting.

Ted has been carrying the bag calling on V.I.T.O. (Very Important Top Official) for 40 + years and helping clients sales forces both online and on the ground get meetings faster and at a higher rate. He has earned 6 Marketing ARC Awards for his client successes. He estimates it costs $900-$3,000 to get a meeting. So, it’s important to get it right or a lot of money is wasted.  Remember you can’t close a sale without a meeting. The more qualified meetings you get the more sales you make and the more MOOLA you make.

See you on January 10th. If you want to make more MOOLA in 2025.

Let me introduce our speaker for Friday January 10, Ted A. “Bump” Davies Jr. Bump, as he prefers to be called, cut his teeth in business with an agency in 1979 called Sales Marketing Inc. He eventually took it over and helped sell it for around $14 Million in 1998 to a division of Staples. His next venture was starting his own agency called TAD Creative Agency. Over the last 25 years his agency has created marketing campaigns that develop leads and sales for companies using marketing tactics such as Digital, Consumer Promotions, Direct Response Marketing, B2B Demand Generation Promotions and many more. He also created an App called GEMS of Our Community to compete against Valpak and Groupon. Using the vast knowledge, he accumulated working with hundreds of CSOs and CMOs, reading hundreds of consultative selling books and being certified several times as a professional sales consultant he created another business that focused on providing sales planning, sales training and idea selling courses called The Master Sales Club under the brand The Promotion Coach. TPC was created for the Promotional Products, Incentive and Digital agency verticals. He has coached over 350 salespeople. For a brief four-year period, he partnered with Aspire North to add omni channel marketing to enhance their consumer data sales. This past year he took on two Fractional Sales Manager roles, one at Victory 360 and the second with Skol Marketing.

On a more personal note, Ted is married. Together, he and his wife have 6 children and 7 grandchildren so far. Ted and his wife, Roxanne, live in Eden Prairie. During the summer months, they live on their boat which is slipped at Sunnyside Marina in Stillwater. His home office is filled with memorabilia but, a note on his monitor states his everyday Motto “Hard Things First”.
